Developer Fitness Challenge: Day 16

Having a really tough time keeping up with the blog updates. I've been trying for daily, but that's just not working between my job, spending time with family, working on my game, exercising, and every-day chores around the house. It's just becoming a lot. I'd rather put the time towards the exercise or development vs. blog updates.

Another reason for not posting every day is because not enough is happening in development daily to be interesting. It's been just a lot of trial and error and reading-up on some new things I might need. Arrays are the next big step I think after I work out a few more little bugs in my existing work which I didn't expect to take this long to squash. Sometimes the simplest things can be very frustrating.



While I haven't been updating the blog, I'm still sticking to my programming and exercise goals just fine. I've had to make some adjustments though because I was starting to burn myself out. Saturday this week was my first full rest day from exercising. I just need a day to rest and recover. I'm still keeping my calorie intake in check though and I'm finding diet is the most important thing. But if I'm not resting well, my gym sessions don't go as well, slowing progress. In any case, I've lost a little weight and have been feeling great. There is still a long ways to go but it's encouraging after only 16 days!


I'll update the blog in the next few days as soon as I make a little more progress worth posting about. Adios until then.
